1. Ordering Information & Business Terms
An order is confirmed by the payment of a deposit, which will be approximately 30% of the final price of the harp ordered. The balance is payable in full upon completion of the instrument, ready for either collection or delivery. An order will not be released from the workshop until full payment has been made.
Payment can be made by personal cheque, Banker's Order (Draft), direct bank-to-bank electronic transfer, or cash. We only accept payment in Euros. We are not able to accept payment by credit cards. Bank details will be sent once an order is placed.
We do not charge VAT (Value Added Tax, TVA, Mehrwertsteuer) outside the European Community (EEC) so there are no import taxes or duty costs
We do not send instruments out 'on approval' and an order which has not been fully paid for within 60 days of completion will be offered for sale and the deposit forfeit2. Cancellation of Orders
After an order has been placed a cancellation of the order is possible within 14 days after the order has been placed. (Important: date of signature/order). Pre-Payments will be refunded within this time frame. Cancellation and refund of pre-payments is not possible after those 14 days did pass.
3. Delivery time
Delivery times depend on the general situation concerning orders and on the model which is ordered. The delivery times for concert harps are therefore longer than for historical reconstructions. As the delivery times changes every quarter year we ask for your inquiry.
Since we also offer 'emergency services' as well as urgent repairs on concert harps for orchestras and professional harpists, we have to defer the production of harps occasionally. Making of new harps must be interrupted particularly while summer breaks of orchestras. Whilst every effort will be made to complete orders on time no absolute guarantee can be given in this respect.
4. Delivery
If airfreight is required, we use the services of our partner Kayser-Transports an efficient and reputable company with global expertise and coverage, which we have dealt with for more than 12 years; this freight carrier will deliver door-to-door or door-to-airport (at much lower cost) if required. .
All importation charges, handling, storage, delivery and freight charges are payable by the customer5. Invoiced prices
Taking into account the global currency fluctuations and price increases of material procurement, as well as raises of enterprise costs, our prices are adapted annually. If the price at the time of the completion of the harp should have been adapted meanwhile more than 10% of the price which has been valid at the date the order has been placed, then only 10% will be added to this original price.
